Abstract
Investment is one of the drivers of the country's economy, so the role of investment is very important in national development. Sharia investment is one type of investment in Indonesia with fairly rapid development. Based on the data, it can be seen that during the pandemic from 2019–21, the number of Islamic investors continues to increase. The increasing number of investors will certainly affect the condition of the stock price of the issuer company itself. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods with descriptive analysis. Because the data was obtained from various sources of literature, this research is also referred to as a literature study. Based on the researcher's analysis, this study shows that the number of sharia investors, which increased during the pandemic, played a varied role in several companies registered with JII. Most of the companies that issue JII are only in one period, for example, from 2019 to 2020 or 2020 to 2021. So it can be understood that Islamic investors are still interested in shares in JII, but other sharia stock indexes are also the choice of these sharia investors. As we know, in Indonesia there are also other sharia stock indexes, such as ISSI, JII 70, IDX MES BUMN 17, etc.
