Abstract

In Syi’ah’s tradition, the role of the priests influence all social life even in science disciplin. On Hadits’s field, Syiah’s scholar determines doctrin (faham) as a highest doctrin and put its position same as the prophet’s (Muhammad) level. According to Syi’ah’s scholar, It can be seen on the definition of sound (shahih) Hadits. In Syi’ah’s tradition, sound (shahih) Hadits interpreted widerly that leaned on the prophet, Aly ibn Abiy Talib, the eleven priests (known as maksum priest) and reported through a fair reportation that comes from Syi’ah’s priests in each degree/ level. This understanding gives significance limitation namely the existence of the Syi’ah priests as requisite of a reportation quality. On the Syi’ah’s view, the quality of Hadits divide into four level, namely sound (shahih), good (hasan), muwassaq and weak (da’if). Every degree of four has difference limitation and meaning with Sunni that can cause new knowledge on Hadits will appears, moreover in the Hadits’s science.
