Abstract

This paper will discuss the reciprocal relationship between an organization and its members. This paper focuses on women's socio-religious organizations, namely Muslimat NU as social capital which can be a means for its members to develop themselves both in terms of their abilities and in social capacity. In addition, it will also describe the mutualism symbiotic relationship that may exist between the organization and its members. Using a sociological approach, this paper finds that the Muslimat is an organization that has the potential to provide access to its members in various fields such as religion, education, economics and even politics. During its development, the members of Muslimat Nu have grown from individuals with similar backgrounds to becoming increasingly heterogeneous with different backgrounds. This has a social impact for its members to get wider information and for organizations with innovative activities carried out. This paper also emphasizes that the development of human resources at Muslimat NU has made the image of the organization increase in the eyes of the community. Many parties want to work together and even make Muslimat organizations a stakeholder in various fields.
