Abstract

Education should not only focus on student academic development but also on characters that needed in the diversity society. Conflicts are often happened because of lack of awareness to understand others uniqueness like in Indonesia, so that respect is needed in Indonesia. Elementary school as the basic of the education should be able to provide facilities for students and teacher to develop characters such as respect. In this stage, students are able to learn virtues that they will understood until they grow in the future. This research is for to know the acceptblelity respect guidance package both in theories and practices. Borg and Gall approach is used in this research. The subjects in this reaserch are student in fourth, fifth and sixth grade in Laboratory Elementary School of States University of Malang. The result from this reaserch is useful, eligible, and accurate to develop student’s respect in elementary school.
