Abstract

This research strives to understand the responds of Islamic scholars to fatwa of Majelis Ulama Indonesia (Indonsia’s Islamic Council) about the digression of Ahmadiyya movement in Indonesia. This fatwa has emerged the aggression of Ahmadiyya facilities and Ahmadiyya people. The view of Islamic scholar to this fatwa is divided into three views, the first they agree with the fatwa, it means that the digression of both Ahmadiyya —Qadiyani and Lahore is something true—this opinion is representsed by LPPI (Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengembangan Islam), HTI (Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia), al Irsyad al Islamiyah, the second is the digression of Qadiyani only, not Lahore. This opinion is represented by Ahmadiyah Lahore, Majelis Tarjih Muhammadiyah. The third is the refute absolutly to the fatwa, Komnas HAM, Ahmadiyah Lahore and some public figures are opponents of this last. Kata kunci: Fatwa MUI, Ahmadiyah, dan respon tokoh Islam
