Abstract

In the beginning, theories of ideology had become a controversial issue and been fulled with conflicts because of the inexistence of interpretation. Thus, to interprete ideology, it has recently been developed and elaborated through a language reflection. Ideology always exists in form of apparatus. This existence is material and, therefore, many ideas that move around in the social world are considered as words that can speak or make impressions. Furthermore, the study of ideology is learning language in a social life in the context of some conditions and methods. Basically, according to Thompson, hermeneutics methodology can help us understand ideology correctly. Kata kunci: Ideologi, Interpretasi, Relasi dominasi dan Hhermeneutik.
