Abstract

The essence of language is speaking. Speaking is an act that must be repeatedly performed. Hence the role of instructional media in Arabic language teaching is required to be implemented in order to accelerate the students’ speaking skill. Instructional media generates motivation and provides stimulus for learning enthusiasm as it deliberately affects students’ senses and facilitates their understanding. The head of educational institution or its research organization plays important role in providing the instructional media since the other members hardly have capability to provide the media individually. Unawareness of the importance of media in an educational institution is a problem to be faced and solved, so that the head and other members of the institution are expected to have the same vision in the effort to improve the quality of their students’ language proficiency.
