Abstract

The development of human life demands innovation in various fields including electronic payment innovations using cards. Became a trend in the era as well as instant and is considered as a practical development instrument. Countries in the world, including Indonesia, are currently trying to develop a payment instrument, better known as electronic money. Even though it contains criteria or characteristics that have slight differences in instruments such as other payments, for example ATM / Debit cards and credit cards, the instruments used still have similarities with ATM / debit cards and credit cards, namely as payments. Concurrent mixed methods research is a mixed method research in which researchers use a procedure of combining or combining qualitative data with quantitative data in analyzing the problem under study. Population is a joint study or a unit of individual subjects in an area and time and quality to be observed and researched. This study uses a population of 20000 people, they are students of the Islamic banking and Islamic economics program at the Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business. The sampling technique was done through random sampling, which succeeded in getting 100 people from each student of the Islamic banking and Islamic economics program. In quantitative analysis, the SPSS application uses a test to determine which hypotheses are accepted and rejected. The regression equation in the test on Sharia Economics and Islamic Banking data shows that Several variables in this study affect purchasing decisions, such as promotion, place, price, with the results obtained F value of 23.90 > 2.11 (ES) and 33.53 > 2.11 (PS). Then partially it also affects indicated by nika t count> t table. The results showed that both Sharia Economics and Islamic Banking study programs, the most dominant factor affecting the decision to use e- money, was price. More specifically, the most dominant factors for Sharia Economics study program are prices and promotions, while for Sharia Banking study programs are prices and products. Based on Islamic law, it has actually allowed all economic transactions in accordance with the provisions, so that the existence of e-money service fees is said to be valid according to DSN No. 116/DSNMUI/IX/2017
